India have lost there missile man APJ Abdul Kalam Azad on Monday 27 July 2015 after he suffers a major heart attack while he was delivering a lecture in IIM Shillong, Kalam (84) collapsed during his lecture around 6:30pm, then he was immediately taken to Bethany hospital where doctors confirmed that he was no more.

His Desire

Kalam wanted to become a fighter pilot for which he studied aerospace engineering and later worked with DRDO 

Defense Research and Development Organization. He spent 40 years of his life serving DRDO and ISRO. He designed a helicopter for indian army in 1960 and later transferred to ISRO. 

His Presence

Kalam was the key man in the foundation in the rocket launch system in ISRO where he spent nearly 2 decades. He was also known as the people's president as he was hearty devoted for masses particularly the youth who was connected him via internet.

Invitation

Kalam was also invited by Raja Ramanna to become a part of country's first nuclear test "Smiling Buddha" at TBRI.

Opportunity

He was one of the young scientist who went to National Aeronautics Space Agency in US by DR. Vikram Sarabhai for tranning of sounding rockets, he converted a castle shed into a laboratory to practice sounding rockets.

His Skills

Dr. APJ kalam was also a great writer his autobiography "2020-A Vision For New Millennium" was a great example of his writing skills. At VSSC Kalam designed a satellite launch vehicle called SV3 to put 'Rohini' India's first satellite into the earth orbit and made india proud by successfully launching a satellite and making India a member of Space club.
