Ronaldo Storm strikes again : Real Madrid wins over Shakhtar Donetsk 4-0

Real Madrid has started their champions league campaign in style or you can say in Ronaldo style and It looks like there is no stopping Cristiano Ronaldo from making records, he is breaking every record that is coming in his way at the moment. Last night Real Madrid thrashed Shakhtar Donetsk 4-0 once again thanks to Cristiano, who scored one more hat trick for Madrid and Cristiano now top's UCL scoring charts with 80 goals in 116 champions league games most by any player in the history.

The scoring was started by Benzema, when keeper Andriy Pyatov dropped a cross on 30th minute and on 50th minute Shakhtar had Taras Stepanenko sent off which was the only notable thing about Mircea Lucescu's men. After that Ronaldo took control and scored his 33rd career hat trick. Ronaldo also surpassed Ruud van Nistelrooy 's 10 penalty kick record and also equalized Luis Figo with 11 penalties.

On this day: Yuvraj smashed 6 sixes to create history

On September 19, 2007 in a day-night match at Kingsmead, Durban. Yuvraj Singh became the second batsman, after Herschelle Gibbs, to hit six sixes in an over in international cricket. The occasion was the World Twenty20 against England, the venue Kingsmead, Durban, and the bowler under the withering onslaught was Stuart Broad. Yuvraj, spurred by comments from Andrew Flintoff before the tragedy took place, yuvi launched the first ball over cow corner; the second – measured at 111 yards – disappeared over backward square leg; the third and fourth rocketed over extra cover and point; the fifth flew over midwicket; and the sixth six landed in the stands at long-on. Yuvraj’s 12-ball half-century is a record in all forms of international cricket.

18.1 overs: The first ball went over the cow corner and out of the ground!
18.2 overs: A flick of the legs, and the ball sailed over square-leg and into the crowd.
18.3 overs: Yuvraj gave himself room and bludgeoned it over extra-cover.
18.4 overs: A full toss, and Yuvraj creamed it over backward point.
18.5 overs: Yuvraj went on one knee to hoist it over midwicket.
18.6 overs: The last ball was thumped over wide mid-on. Sixth six of the over – Mission accomplished! It also brought the fastest-ever 50 in T20 cricket – off 12 balls!

Football : Manchester united wins over Liverpool while Chelsea tastes defeat against Everton

Manchester united are now positioned 2nd in the premier league table after registering a stunning win over Liverpool last night at Old Trafford stadium. With second half strikes from Daley Blind, Andre Herrera and Anthony Martial puts united 3-1 ahead of Liverpool.

After a quite first half, Daley Blind starts the scoring by diverting Juan mata's free kick into the net on 49th minute. On 70th minute Herrera got the chance to double the lead after Joe Gomez fouled him in the box, which Herrera converted with ease. But Liverpool came back quickly at united with a stunning bicycle kick from their Belgian forward Benteke on 84th minute but the united lead was again bumped up by Anthony Martial just after 2 minutes and seal the game with 3-1 lead.

On the other hand Chelsea, who's having a nightmare league has again faces an upset from the hands of Everton or we can say from the foots of Steven Naismith at Goodison park. The one man show from Naiy made Chelsea players look powerless and mourinho frustrated. Last year winners faced 3-1 loss against Everton which made them slip to 16th spot in the points table very close to the relegation spot. Naismith who came out early for injured Muhamed Besic, started firing into the Chelsea nets & the first goal came on 17th minute when he headed the ball into the nets and leaves Begovic with no chance. And soon after 5 minutes Naismith doubled the score by putting the ball into the bottom right corner.

Chelsea did make a comeback when Matic converted a throw and blasted the ball from 35 yards out to score a stunner. The second half looked goalless until Naismith again slides the ball past Begovic on 82nd minute with the help of Barkley and Lennon to register his premier league hat trick. Chelsea saw themselves 11 points down against the points table leaders Manchester city when they defeated Crystal city 1-0.
