Car that hijacked by terrorists

It all started when terrorists killed a Dhaba owner and hijacked his car, the dhaba was near Gurdaspur which is near to katuwa border (jammu) from possibly where these terrorists came from, from there they reached to their next destination Dinanagar and start firing on bus that was standing at the bus stop. All three terrorists were in military uniform to disguise everyone including police, around 5:30am they attacked Dina nagar police station with heavy firing and officer's and constables couldn't understand what was happening, by the time everyone realized that this was a terrorist attack, the terrorists captured the police station. The homeguards were defencing themselves against the firing which was coming from police station.

SP (Detective) Baljeet Singh were martyred in cross firing, he got shot in the head and died during his treatment in hospital. Terrorists were firing in every 5 minutes interval as they were having arms and bullets in bulk, they were also carrying GPS & grenades which was all manufactured in China including their latest weaponries like AK-47.

While the fight against terrorists were ON in Dina nagar, a patrolling man spotted 5 Active bombs on railway bridge near pathankot, there were high alert in MP, UP & and Punjab after the attack.

Lashkar-e-tayiaba a terrorist group has taken the responsiblity  for the attack and the talks were there that these terrorists were belong to Pakistan because they came from the Katuwa border route which is only 10kms away from Gurdaspur and possibly ISI - intelligence agency have planned this attack.

Homegaurds Attacking with grenades 

After a hard fight by Punjab police officers and SWAT which came to an end after 11 long hours all three terrorists were neutralized, there were Total 12 life that were lost including 3 civilians, 5 homegaurds, 1DSP & 3 terrorists

This is not the first time that terrorists had targeted Punjab the last time was 20 years back in 31 August 1995.

Baljeet Singh's father Athur Singh was also died in a terrorists attack in 1987, both martyred father and son saved their country by serving till the last breath. We salute them for giving their all and made the country proud.
