Make in India: Sony to start manufacturing in India again

Thanks to narendra modi's initiative "make in india" after a long interval Sony corporation will start manufacturing its products in india again. Sony is One of the biggest consumer electronics company of Japan has tied up with Taiwan's manufacturing firm  Foxconn to develop their products in foxconn's chennai based plant. Sony signed up a agreement to manufacture Bravia televisions but the managing director of Sony corp. India kenichiro hibi has also mentioned that they were also thinking to start manufacturing mobile devices in india and they will also setup a plant for that.

India is Sony's 4th biggest market after America, China and native Japan, they had sold over Rs. 10000 crores goods in 2014-15 in which televisions and mobiles shares 40℅ of the total profit. Right now Sony will only develop 2 models of their 43 inch Bravia TV's which are based on Google's operating system Android and will start shipping soon.
