Shaandaar gets a 'Shandaar' opening of Rs.13.1 crore despite of its flaws

Shahid and Alia starer 'Shaandaar' gives both of them their record opening as the movie collects Rs.13.1 Crore on its first day which is 6th highest collection of 2015 despite the flaws that movie has in its storyline. The movie is directed by Queen fame Vikas Bahl is not even close to what queen delivered a flawless storyline, close to real characters and great directional skills but no one expected to see this big drop in storytelling. Shahid and Alia has given a push to the movie with their acting skills and just like every time pankaj kapoor has done a good job. The best part of the movie is the songs which are picturized in grand style but others are spoilers. The movie has a good starting but in between the story gets confused and characters looks like they don't know what they are doing which makes it boring.

Alia bhatt is playing Alia in the film and shahid kapoor as JJ Jagjindar Jogindar and they achieved spontaneous chemistry which is quite notable. 

The story is more like fairytale and for that director has added a flashback with a voice over by Naseeruddin Shah to accentuate the film’s fairy tale impulses.

The story is about Arora family which is ruled by mommy Ji Kamla Arora (Shushma Seth), his son Vipin Arora (Pankaj Kapoor) who brings a orphan child to home. Vipin's wife and Mother always Jibed her for being orphan. Vipin also has one more daughter Isha (Sana Kapoor) Isha is getting married to a rich sindhi businessman Harry Fandwani (Sanjay Kapoor) younger Robin (Diljit Dosanjh) brother but this is more of a business deal between to money minded families. As this is a destination wedding, a castle in English countryside is decided as venue and JJ (Shahid Kapoor) is the wedding organiser. Jagjindar jogindar and Alia both has a disorder of having sleepless nights and his father (pankaj Kapoor) hopes that some day her daughter will catch sleep. 

If we shahid alia's love story, there is nothing more in the film to talk about but pankaj Kapoor has quite easily putten  life in the boring scenes with his dialog's. In a Sindhi business tycoon's role Sanjay Kapoor has tried hard but with dialogues based on Sindhi jokes made him look overacted. In special appearance Karan johar is doing his usual work and doing a rapid fire round like coffee with karan but that also don't make anyone excited. 

The strong point of the film is it's music and its picturization but their is no other scene which you have not seen in trailer and in the video songs on TV. 

The story is written by Anvita Dutt, Chetali Parmar and  Vikas Bahl but have three writers doesn't means you will get a good story and shaandaar just proved it so if you are still going to watch this one, have a good sleep in the dark.
