Inspired by a mythological story from Ramayana where ahalya was seduced by Indra and get cursed by his husband Gautama Maharishi, sujoy ghosh has given it a morden twist or you can say added some spices for extra flavour over mythological script which is only 14 minutes long. The starcast of the film is also intresting with the likes of Soumitra Chatterjee as Goutam Sadhu plays an artist in the flick, Radhika Apte(you know who is she ;) ) as an Ahalya and Tota Roy Chowdhury as the policeman Indrasen. Story starts when Policeman indrasen comes to the house of aging artist goutam sandu to investigate about a missing man arjun where he also meet the young ahalya who is looking at him in a seductive manner, there he (indrasen) also sees a doll which a lookalike of that missing man arjun with four other dolls placed on the mantelpiece, there is also a stone placed right next to the dolls in a glass case which Gautama said is having magical powers, power to turn him or her whom touches it to whatever they wishes to, the artist also told the policeman that arjun knows about the stone and might have used it but policeman didn't believed but went to try it by himself as the artist forces him to do that and gets cast into the stones.
