Kepler 452b - Could Be The New Earth !

NASA has announced that they have found a new planet which is quite similar to earth , it is older and bigger than the earth and has more gravitational pull. The announcement was made yesterday on 23 July 2015. The planet is also called super earth as its having many active volcanos due to its higher mass and density which covers most of the surface if seen from the space, NASA has not clarified that the environment of the planet is human friendly or not. Kepler 452b is six billion years old and is 1.5 billion years older than earth, it also has a smaller size orbit than our own planet and receives same amount of sunlight and same length of years. NASA scientists are not sure whether the planet host life as its orbit the G2V- type star with same mass and temperature like the sun but believe if plants were sent there they likely to survive.
