Crane falls in Mecca Grand mosque kills 107 lives

Nearly 107 people died and around 238 people injured in Mecca's grand mosque in Saudi Arabia when a crane fells down on third floor around 5:30pm on friday. The floor was jam packed with 1000 Pilgrims when crane collapsed.

The reason for the collapse is believed to be the thunderstorm that hits Mecca on friday afternoon at masjid Al-Haram. Dispite the crash there were hundreds of thousands of Pilgrims had already arrived for the annual hajj.

Indonesian and Indians were among those who died and injured Malaysian, Egyptian and Iranian were also injured in the Friday crane fall. The investigation is going on to know the exact cause of the crane fall although the engineers says that it's an 'Act of God' and there is no human error in the tragedy.
