Storyline

The story  revolves around  Gangster Pasha (played by Aditya pancholi) who has been arrested by IG Mathur (played by Timanshu Dhuliya) and has enough evidence against him. To stop IG Mathur, Pasha calls his son sooraj (played by sooraj pancholi) for kidnapping IG Mathur's daughter Radha (played by Aathiya Shetty) whom sooraj came across earlier in the dance club. Sooraj and his friends kidnap radha easily as they were in fake police uniforms. Sooraj and gang tell's Radha that her father told them to take her to some other city until 18 February (The date when pasha's hearing to be held in court). While that time sooraj and Radha starts liking each other and fell in love. On the other hand IG Mathur and his son Dheeraj (played by sharad kelker) somehow came to know where sooraj kept  Radha, they charge to the location and captures sooraj's all four friends but sooraj and Radha escapes. Later  Pasha faces problems after sooraj surrenders himself to police and then the story turns from rebel to love. The second half tells how sooraj turns into a good man for getting Radha's family attention especially IG Mathur's attention to let him marry radha.

Acting

Sooraj Pancholi as sooraj has done a good job but the speed of the story and less impressive written dialogues didn't give his acting much attention if we compare it to his looks what director tried to show from the first shot.

Aathiya Shetty as Radha didn't impress at all there is not a single scene of her to make crowed whistle and of course there are dialogues to make it worse for her. The romantic scenes (which are quite few) looks dull because there is no on-screen chemistry between Aathiya and Sooraj.

Timanshu Dhuliya as IG Mathur has been consistent with his role but did not suited as a cop, instead he should have given Gangster Pasha's role which type of character's he is doing from a long time and justified them perfectly.

Aditya pancholi as Pasha also done a good job but the switch really required here also. Nothing really help the movie if the main leads are leaking from the start.

Sharad kelker and Vivan Bhathena are the most impressive characters in the film. Especially Vivan Bhathena who has out perform Aditya pancholi in villains character. He looked impressive in his very small role and he also defeated sooraj pancholi when compared in physic department. Sharad kelker has also done fine effort as Radha's brother in the film andalso as a police officer, we will see more of his acting skills in Agnet Raghav serial which aired &TV.

Direction

The movie is directed by Nikhil Advani and has done a terrible thing with the living legend Shubhash Ghai's original effort. There are lots of mistakes in the screen play and the pace which movie got in the first half gives the feeling that director wants to finish things early to get things look clean in the second half. Nikhil Advani's efforts also lost the charm because of the songs which are hardly remembered by audience after the movie.

Final verdict

As compared to the original Hero film staring Jackie shroff is much more redefined  which has songs like ' pyar krne wale kabhi darte nahi' 'Ding dong' and ' lambi judai' which are still remembered and should not be touched, this is what we felt after watching the remake although the songs are way far from the magic that original created. In one scene IG Mathur say's to Radha " itna zaleel krne ki kya zarurat thi, huh"

This is what the original Hero movie should have asked if both the movies ever came across to each other. In our words don't watch the film and think as it never made. Save your money, salman has more than enough but we don't so its better to save the money for the film in which he stars inn.
