Sony unveiled xperia Z5 premium with 4K resolution

Japanese smartphone manufacturer Sony unveiled 3 new smartphones xperia Z5, Z5 compact and Z5 premium at IFA 2015 held in Berlin, Germany.

Xperia Z5 and Z5 compact will be available from October this year all over the world and Z5 premium in November 2015.

All three phones uses Qualcomm's 810 64bit octa-core SoC and 32GB internal storage while Z5 compact carry's 2GB ram, Z5 and Z5 premium comes with 3 gigs of ram.

Along with 32GB of storage Sony also give users freedom to expand it upto 200GB.

All three xperia's Carry's different screen sizes and biggest of them all is Z5 premium which comes fitted with a 5.5 inch screen with 3840×2160p resolution. Then comes the normal Z5 which comes with a 5.2 inch screen with 1920×1080p resolution. And finally the Z5 compact that carry's a 4.6 inch display on which 1280×720p resolution laid over.

Z5 premium gives you 3840×2160 resolution on 5.5 inch screen with 801ppi this makes Z5 premium the phone to ship with a UHD display.

Surprisingly all three phones fitted with the same 23MP Sony IMX230 camera module 1/2.3" sensor with 1.12 micron and a aperture of F/2.0. The camera of all the xperia's also gets Sony's hybrid autofocus technology with PDAF that enables 30ms focus time. The camera can also records UHD video at 30fps.

The most noticeable thing of these Z5's are the fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button on the right edge of the phones.

Talking about the design all the phones will come in a metal-glass body where the back gets the all glass finish with metal edges, the phones are also waterproof and gets IP65/68 certification.

Z5 compact comes only in a single Sim variant while Z5 and Z5 premium both will be available in single Sim and dual Sim versions. 

Just like there specifications, all phones also varies in the price segment, the Xperia Z5 is priced at £599 and Xperia Z5 Premium costs £699 while Xperia Z5 Compact is the cheapest of them at £549.00
