ALPHABET : Google's New Home

Google co-founder Larry Page has announced a new company called Alphabet (http://ABC.xyz) in which google is the 'G' from now on. Alphabet Inc. Will replace Google Inc. As public tramemark and all shares of google will automatically converted into alphabets shares. In blogpost Larry shared this information with everyone.

"Our company is operating well today, but we think we can make it cleaner and more accountable. So we are creating a new company, called Alphabet (http://abc.xyz). I am really excited to be running Alphabet as CEO with help from my capable partner, Sergey, as President." Larry wrotes in blogspot.

What is Alphabet?

Alphabet is mostly a collection of companies from AtoZ, where A is for Alphabet and G is for Google. Currently 19 letters are empty and Google Alphabet will run companies starting with those letters soon. Other companies which alphabet is operating currently are

• C - Calico (focus on longevity) and capital (investment)
• G - obviously Google( includes Android, YouTube, search, maps)
• H - Hooli (HBO's silicon valley)
• L - Life science (works on glucose-sensing contact lens)
• N - Nest (Nest reinvents unloved but important home products)
• V - Ventures
• X - X-Lab ( incubates new efforts likewings like our drone delivery service )

Larry Page mentioned sunder pichai specially in his blogpost by commending his efforts in google. and made him the CEO of Google which is now a subsidiary of Alphabat Inc. Indian origin Sundar pichai will run Google as CEO who is devoted to google for 11 years since joined in 2004.
